Raise your hand if you have Paper Issues! I have always loved the name of the company Paper Issues and am so excited to be hopping with their team and the Tombow team on a fun blog hop. I was sent the March Swag Bag (monthly mini embellishments kit) and a 12×12 paper assortment so of course I thought: “scrapbooking”! Tombow's adhesives are perfect for scrapbooking. I chose to use a Tombow MONO Permanent Adhesive Runner, Tombow Xtreme Tabs, and NEW Tombow Foam Tape for these layouts. I've been working on my new ebook, Scrap FREE Scrapbooking, which is a set of 20 cutting patterns for paper that yields no leftovers and no scraps for a set number of scrapbooking layouts. I figured the Paper Issues kit was a great way to put the cutting patterns to the test! I received 7 sheets of paper and a mini embellishment pack which I used to create 4 scrapbook layouts using a 6 sheet template. From the Paper Issues kit, I had one full sheet of cardstock leftover as well as a few embellishments but from the pages I cut, there were no scraps leftover whatsoever!
Here are the 4 layouts I created, ready for photos and journaling. Once I decide what photos to use, I'll add titles using the stickers from the Paper Issues March Swag Bag.
I think I'll use some of these for soccer photos and one of them to scrap Katie's acting debut in a recent school play. Add doodling to the pages for more interest using a Tombow Dual Brush Pen, like I did on the page on the upper left of this four page photo above. Here's how I created the pages:
The cutting patterns are not shown and not available until June 15, 2015 but you can preorder them now at a discount, right here at Just JP: Scrap FREE Scrapbooking Pre-Order
