Lime Marinated Chicken Recipe

Get tender, juicy chicken with this marinade recipe.


  • 2 limes, juiced
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1 TBSP kosher salt
  • 1/2 TBSP black pepper
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp red chili pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 cup chopped cilantro


  1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl until blended.
  2. Place the chicken in a glass bowl or baking dish. Pour marinade to cover the chicken. Place in the refrigerator for 1 to 3 hours.
  3. Prepare a charcoal grill with a pile of 25-30 briquettes in the middle of the grill.
  4. Remove the chicken from the fridge. Place on a hot grill, just away from the coals to prevent flare ups when the chicken drips onto the coals.
  5. Cook until the internal temp of the chicken is 165°F. Use a meat thermometer to properly measure the temperature of the chicken.
  6. Remove the chicken from the grill.
