Summer is an amazing time to be active outside because the weather is so amazing and gorgeous. I love going on walks in the morning, getting out in my garden, and hiking in the desert trails behind our house, along the California Aqueduct. If you're like us, whether we're having fun in the sun or staying active at the gym, we like to work healthy items into our life in an easy way so we can keep the good habits going. We love a great banana berry smoothie in the morning and adding Emergen-C is an easy and flavorful way to get more essential nutrients.

I've been trying to cut back on my sugar intake so I stopped adding orange juice to my smoothie recipe. Directions:
- Add ingredients in the following order: ice, Emergen-C Super Orange packets, coconut water, fruit.
- Blend thoroughly on the “smoothie” or “frappe” setting on the blender.
- Serve garnished with fresh fruit and enjoy!

- 2 cups coconut water (green coconut juice)
- 2 cups ice
- 1.5 bananas
- 0.5 lbs fresh strawberries (about 10 medium whole strawberries or half the 1 lb clamshell package)
Instructions
- Add ingredients in the following order: ice, Emergen-C, coconut water, fruit.
