What to see at Knott’s Peanuts Celebration

All new for 2018, Knott's Berry Farm kicks things off with the Knott's Peanuts Celebration. If you;re a Peanuts fan, you will love the Charlie Browniest of celebrations. All through the Park are events, details, and more to celebrate all that is Peanuts. Plus, there's a new member to the Peanuts gang at Knott's that you won't wanna miss … Pigpen!!

We didn't get a chance to meet with Pigpen but we did get to hang out in the “pig pen” … there are baby pigs, a horse, and a mule to pet in the Livery Stable where Pigpen hangs out for a photo ops all day long.

While you're waiting for Pigpen, head on over to the Bird Cage Theatre to learn to draw your favorite Peanuts characters from professional animators.

You'll get everything you need right “in class” like a clipboard, drawing paper, and pencil.

The featured characters change all day long so you will have a chance to draw the whole Peanuts gang over the course of the day.

The Calico Mine Stage hosts Sally and Schroeder's musical retrospective show, “The Music Goes Round and Round” with dancing and music all day long. The show turns into “Woodstck's Musical Festival” after dark, a night-time family friendly show.

Walk over to the Fiesta Plaza Stage and learn ballet folklorico from “Lucy and Sally's Fiesta Fantasy” show. The nachos at the nearby restaurant are outstanding!

The Ghost Town is one of our favorite places to hang out in Knott's. Swing to the left when you enter the Park to head to the Ghost Town where you can enjoy a sit down meal at the Spurs restaurant or grab some grub from one of the eateries.

We always get the kids a bosyenberry ice cream cone or one of these homemade ice cream sandwiches at the end of the Ghost Town near the railroad and the Calico Mine Stage.

At night, the Calico Mine Stage  comes to life with a family friendly rock concert featuring the Peanuts Gang and “The Jelly of the Month Club” band. All day long there is fun for the whole family from the rides and shows to the arcade and shopping. And did I mention snacks?

All throughout the Park are Peanuts themed foods. Check out this album of foods I made on Instagram!

Before you go, make sure you snag a photo at one of the many one-of-a-kind photo opportunities throughout the park. There are a few at the main entrance you can capture on your way in or out of the Park.

Head on over to Knott's Berry Farm for the Knott's Peanuts Celebration to meet your favorite Peanuts gang characters. But hurry! The fun ends on February 25th so you gotta go soon!

Which Peanuts character are you excited to meet most? Let me know in the comments!
