Don't you love street tacos? 🌮
My heart skips a beat 💖 when I hear that someone will have a “taco man” at their next party!
When I made this chicken street tacos recipe from Knorr and took a bite of our homemade mini chicken tacos, they immediately tasted familiar: chicken street tacos!
Who knew it could be so easy to make street tacos at home? Whip up these street tacos in minutes for a meal the whole family or for a taco spread at a Cinco De Mayo party.
Here's my secret: The authentic Mexican flavor starts with Knorr® Chicken Flavor Bouillon (Caldo Con Sabor De Pollo):
Chicken Street Tacos – A Family Meal
Don't these tacos look delish?
We altered this chicken street tacos recipe by adding the juice of half a lime to the cooked chicken rather than using the 4 Tablespoons of lime juice the recipe calls for. My son loves adding hot sauce to the tacos and I like to add a little slice of avocado inside.
The beauty of serving tacos family-style is that everyone in the family can make their tacos however they want. Plus, it's a great way to gather together as a family around a meal at the end of the day.

Here's what you'll need to make this chicken street taco recipe:
Cut the chicken into smaller pieces to allow it to cook faster and to avoid curling. My grandma loved making “chicken fingers” with chicken breast, but they always seemed to curl up when cooked in a frying pan. The smaller chicken pieces are more manageable to chew and eat in the tacos.
We used olive oil instead of vegetable oil because that's what I have in my pantry.
You can use single tortillas for these tacos, but I doubled up the tortillas, just like the taco man does!
