Make these Mexican dip recipes for your soccer party
I don't know who you are rooting for when you watch soccer but we're giving a nod to ole Mexico with this trio of dips arranged to look like the Mexican flag. Okay, maybe not exactly like the flag but you get the gist. You can mix and arrange these Mexican dip recipes to match the flag of your favorite soccer team.
Soccer traditions in our family
My husband grew up playing soccer but I never played as a kid. When our kids were old enough to start playing, we signed them up for soccer. It's a rite of passage for the kids in our family, including my niece and nephews. You play soccer. And you watch soccer. It's a way of life! We even play soccer with our dogs!
Watching the soccer match
I was recently at the nail salon getting my nails done and all of a sudden everyone turned and were fixated on the TV. In our town, even the nail salon has the soccer game on! Every year when soccer season starts, we're gathered around watching the games or listening to them on the radio. How does you family keep up with your favorite teams?
Another fun way to celebrate soccer season is to create goal can to pass around every time your team makes a goal to raise funds for your favorite charity!

3 Easy Mexican Dip Recipes
You can make these Mexican dip recipes together in a trio, like we have, or make them each on their own. Every party dip recipe below has it's own unique flavor that pairs great with fresh vegetables, tortilla chips, and even potato chips.
Are these dips actually “Mexican”?
You might be wondering: “what makes these Mexican dip recipes?”. While these dips are not traditional Mexican cuisine, we chose flavors and produce that are common staples in Mexican cuisine, like avocados, chipotle and adobo flavors, and Knorr Granulated Bouillon to make these cold dip recipes. You can really taste the Mexican flavors in the dips!
Should you use Mexican crema or sour cream for dip recipes?
We also used Mexican crema as a base for these recipes. You might be tempted to substitute sour cream for the crema in the recipe but you need to know a few things first. Sour cream and crema have the same consistency but the crema is saltier and has a few more added ingredients than sour cream. If you substitute sour cream for the crema in these recipes, you may need to add salt to the recipe for taste but the consistency should be similar.
